Will a 96 park avenue subframe go into a 99 regal?

The first car is a 1996 park avenue ultra series 2 supercharged.
2nd car is a 1999 regal gse (assuming it's supercharged)
will the subframe out of the pa just bolt into the gse. The regal had got a blown tranny and I thought it might be easier to just swap the whole subframe as the pa has like 80k less than the gse
Or otherwise could I just swap the tranny are they the same?

96 would be a different trans than the 99.
and the sub frames are likely different as the regal is a W body, and the park ave is a C body. but, I havent tried to swap like that, so I cant say from experiance. I would still put my money on it not being a direct bolt-on swap.

Not a snowball's chance in hell of the subframes being the same. Two different generations of two completely different cars, plus like Wes said, the PAU has a 4T60E-HD, and the GSE has a 65E-HD. The transmissions aren't swappable.

I believe you will be looking for a 98-99? Not sure if 97's are different or not. Finding a 99 would be your best bet, obviously. Correct, 4t65E-HD from a GTP, SSEi, GS or GSE, PAU, etc.

On car-part.com for the it only shows other 99's
Also it says what I need would have to come out of a grand prix or regal where as a bonneville, riviera, and PA ultra are all the same.
So is there a difference bc of the W body vs H body or what?
Also why would the rivvy be with the PA and Bonneville it's not an H body is it?

Riviera is a G body
the L67 W bodies have a different gear ratio than L67 C, G, and H bodies.
I think it was 3.05 for the W. and 2.93 for the others

I think the biggest difference is.....the structural side pan. I know from experience the Riviera pan uses slightly different mounting points than a W-body. Plus, you have to consider this...most used transmissions include the torque converter, which can be specific to the car it came from. The 4T65 didn't change much from '97-02 aside from slight improvements. The '03 and newer ones aren't mechanically different, but electronically (and valve body and channel plate), they are worlds different from the previous years.
