What? I can't hear you.. speak up.

I'm guessing a bit loud. How much of that bass goes up thru the trunk lid vs into the car?

If you ask me, I'd guess it doesn't sound that good for actually listening to music. Maybe he's going for SPL... but if that's the case, he better spend as much on Dynomat as he did on speakers.

Every time the (4) 15" subs hit they are going to distort the crap out of the sound coming from the drivers mounted in the rear deck.

no they wont distort the drivers on the rear deck.. the drivers on the rear deck have the baskets of them covered in black electrical tape to stop any air pressure from the subs from getting under the cones of my midrange speakers.

i thought about that ahead of time..

and as for the air pressure going into the car the enclosures are ported thru the back seat and the whole armrest setup was removed to allow the air to exit the trunk while the back seat is on.. but at comp the back seat will be off..

I would have to assume it's SPL with a setup like that. SQ guys usually build with a bit more attention paid to aiming the speakers, and not so much attention to the number of speakers. I could be way wrong though.

Second Skin has been around for years. It's marginally better than dynamat, but has it's own issues.

It's going to take more than electrical tape to stop the air from those...

2 of those is more than enough, why 4?

And you don't have enough money for a new oil pressure sender or aftermarket mechanical oil pressure gauge?

I wonder why?

That's the first time I've seen a Bonne with no trunk!
:laughing3:
Very much overkill IMO. Twin 12's with 5000 clean watts is more than enough bump. I remember Taylor's (Chicago) ride a few years ago, he could bounce coins three inches high off his roof! He even blew the pass thru door right off.

Quad 15's should blow the trunk lid off.
