Is there a How-To or Step by Step guide on how to install a new PW motor on a 92-99?

remove the door panel, remove the connector and the 3 bolts for the motor and pull the motor out. I believe that will do it.

Are the motors held in with bolts or some kind of rivets that will need to be drilled?

Just 3 - 10mm bolts. Real simple. Pull the old motor out, put the new motor in.

Today I pulled the door panel and motor. Leaving the motor plugged in I tried the switch and it worked, but only in one switch direction - UP. I guess it still has to be replaced, there's nothing I can do with it?

UPDATE: The problem wasn't the motor. It was the master switch on the driver side. Replaced it and everything works as it should.
