finished cleaning the headlight lenses, and putting on 2 coats of poly. Next week I'll steel wool them and put on 2 more coats. The headlights were a 2 day project for me.

Then I replaced the dual Bonneville horn that was dual only when it wanted to be with a new ($20) ACDelco Cadillac horn:

I went to the junkyard for a couple goodies for my car, and came up empty handed as 04+ GP's are hard to find in the yards around here. (And 07+ Envoy/Trailblazers, for another project for my car).
But I did find an older Grand Prix with HUD that I snagged up for my roommate's 96 GTP. His car was already wired for it, took literally less than five minutes to install.

Loaded up the trunk at 5:45am with gear for a 11-12 hour straight-shot road trip over the Rockies to visit family in Calgary and hit an Olds specific show on Saturday in Olds Alberta. 2 weeks ofF, oh yeah! Im sending this from the lounge on the ferry to Vancouver, which is the only way off of this rock, but its a perfect day for travel!

Betty was missing on the way home from work and I pulled a P0302 DIC (cyl 2 misfire). Tracked it down to the coil. I swapped in an old coil from my 94 SE--No more misfire

Thursday I installed the blower motor on the Bonneville(such a pain, I had the old style unfortunately), and Friday I replaced the starter on the Camaro. I also have the rear valve cover gasket laying around that I need to get put on, did the front but haven't gotten around to the back.

Working on the water pump today. It started buzzing violently at high rpm, which is quite scary to experience. Since everyone loves pics, I took a few!

I got a bunch of LEDs and put them in the interior of both cars. Also put them in the side markers on the 04 and put them in the cluster of the 96. I also tried putting the 04+ GP gauge needles on there but they were too heavy and the speedo was off...so much for that.

I don't have pictures but I ran an LED light to light up my ashtray. Little bit of reseating needed. i tried to run it off the the console lighting but didn't see a source. I had to run it off the cig lighter. This is the first time I've been in the dash. it looked stock except for sa few wires that were tagged with masking tape

my 73 olds omega has a fiber optic lit ashtray.

In other news, I shined the tires and did a quick detail this morning before work. Already had dust on it after washing it last night.

Put a PCV catch can on the G8 last week, along with a fresh fill of Amsoil SSO 5W-30 and an EaO filter. Gonna check the catch can tomorrow and see how much slime it caught.
