Hell yeah, I'd shoot foe the Audi as COTM, but that's so far from an h-body. Immediate plans are exhaust and a.tune. Stock they dyno about 240whp. I think I should be able to hit 260 fairly easily.

Sorry to hear about the Buick but looks like you got a pretty good replacement. Was looking at a few German cars myself but I just can't give up a solid running 3800 for one.

I really always wanted something German as well. But after what I saw with my friend's Audis and BMW in high school I quickly realized it wasn't in my cards. Such craftsmanship though.

Beautiful cars but I wouldn't want to have to afford the repair bills. At least at this point in my life but maybe someday when I get rich

Scratch that, I'll probably be in a Bonneville for eternity.

Too many accidents with these cars, brings back nightmares for me! Sorry to hear the bads news bro, but at least youe alright. Waking up to someone knocking on your window is never fun, ive had something similar happen before, so I know how ya feel. At least you have something else to work on and get running then. Good luck and god speed with the swap!
1995 Jeep Cherokee Country- 200,XXX miles and running strong. 4.0L paired with a 5 speed manual. 4.5" long arm lift with 32" tires and regeared to make up for power. Best of all, shes a fire engine red!

2000 Bonneville SSEi- 145,XXX miles, bonestock for the time (don't hold your breath, it might be a long while)

*dang* shame to see..... But the Car did its duty and protected its occupant.. Sad to see the car go this way, but to hold up to that impact.... It would make me buy another big car..

Any residual pain or anything? Everything ok?

I'm ok. The others guys insurance called me today and said they'll send me another check for $400 because of mental trauma from the crash, but really they're just hoping I won't sue them because the other driver was given a ticket for gross negligent driving. Honestly, I wouldn't sue anyways, but I won't be turning down money. I'm very grateful for the Buick being such a good car, and I'm having a decal made of the side profile of the LeSabre, which will go in the back window of the Audi. Rest assured too that I will be back in GM cars in the future. I alternate. I had a 914 2.0, a volvo 240 with a 350 crate motor, 1986 Porsche 944, 1984 Porsche 944, 2000 turbo beetle, and my Buick was my favorite of all of them, so I'm definitely not permanently leaving the brand.

Just make sure you are 100% before taking the $400. If you cash the check, and something comes up later, you are probably on your own.

No, the check involves nothing about my medical coverage. It's not a settlement.

That's sad, but at least she went out protecting you with all she had. Glad the other driver did the right thing and the insurance company did right by you. Good luck with the Audi.
