Finally found a motor that I liked for a good price for this one. Complete L67 from a GTP with 120k for $600. I had to swap the exhaust manifolds, oil pan, etc...

I ran into a snag when no parts stores in the area had an oil pan gasket, so I have to wait until tomorrow when I can drop it in.

Why another hood? it just needs paint.

Gas door area will be fixed, not sure on the route yet.

Engine is in and runs great...

I'm interested to see how that fuel door rot area is fixed.

Mine is actually worse than that and extends down along the dog leg...

Got the car back last night. For this being a fiberglass fix, I am overly impressed with the quality of the work, and it only cost $400.

Looks great! Since this is in my future soon, I take fiberglass is NOT the way to go with this?

Well fiberglass is a LOT better than bondo. It all depends how long you plan on keeping the car.

Do you have any rustoleum gloss black you can touch up that lip with?

That's one helluva nice repair, regardless of the fading bodyline. It's hardly noticeable.
2005 GXP - White Gold Pearl, no mods...yet.
2000 SSEi - Resurrection in progress. Built L67 w/L32 fuel rail, ported heads, and cam. Camaro front brake system, GXP cluster, and much more in planning.

The lip that would get rolled if you rolled the rear wheel well. That angle makes it look like it's missing paint.

I finished up the interior on this one today. It's basically done except for the PDR, and then I'll put a few miles on it to make sure everything is tip top.

I did a little polishing on it... look at the difference between this one and the black one sitting next to it.
