I'd love to see chrome bumpers on that thing now.
Otherwise a good refinish and repaint of the white could do well too. Then you gotta do the roof though too..

WOW! Thanks for posting. I like the truck and it brings back a lot of good memories. If you go a 350, get the 2 bolt main and get the bolt on web for the bottom. 4 bolt Chevy mains are not as strong as the converted 2 bold mains. Keep us current with the "updates" on the truck. - BC

Jason, my plan is go chrome front trim and front and rear bumpers, when we get it painted. The roof will be re-painted white, and the side trim will probably be replaced, but retained.
My current plan is that 4 bolt main crate engine. I will never make enough power to make it matter whether it's splayed or normal outer main bolts.
Rod, that S/C is cool, but it isn't even close to an OE look, nor is it cheap, lol. I wanna have somewhere south of $3k in the engine.
