Yes it is Matt. CarQuest's premium filter is also the same.

Never paid 8$ for a Napa gold, usually the Wix is more expensive.

Its more filtering area. PF52 is the ACDelco number, its also the old TBI 350 4x4 filter.

They're in the back, FWIW. They have the Fram's sitting out, they keep the good stuff in the back...

I run supertech oil filters in my car & there a pretty decent filter for the price (around $3 out the door). I ran them in my other cars with no problems at all.

Oh here another great video on oil filter. Its long, but well worth watching.

Nothing wrong with a SuperTech filter for the average driver changing oil on an average schedule. They're cheap and they work.

The E-Core construction on some of them has shown it can be problematic when run longer than 6-7k miles or so, according to pictures I've seen. The filter media was more likely to have holes and be deformed. They're definitely not for extended oil change intervals.

I use ACDelco most of the time although I use the bigger filter. It's a good quality for a good price plus its made in the USA. Although if there is a oil change special going on sometime I will get a different filter so I can get the special, but never Fram!

But I am sketched by the e-core ACDelco since I heard some bad things but I've never even seen an e-core on the shelf so...
