I remember measuring the quad tips of an 05 GXP. They were only 1" diameter.

Calipers or a Micrometer are best. Or cut a notch in a piece of cardboard, and mark where each side of the pipe touches each side of the notch, then measure between the marks.

Would measuring the circumference and dividing it by 3.14 work, or not? I could round it to the nearest 1/4 inch. My 03 has a Bosal exhaust, and doesn't look like my 00 at all.

all the my 03 had bosal as well, the GXP exhaust has bosal too....

no resonator on the GXP

That was OEM as it game off the donor car, Pat? And the same configuration as the SSEi?

And for the 2003, other than Bosal, was the layout and dimensions the same as earlier 2k's?

stupid question: what is bosal i assumed it was some kinda special exhaust but wikipedia only came up with something about horse bridles

It's just a different BRAND of muffler. Nothing uber-special other than that.

Yes, same layout, but looks like different diameters. I may be wrong. I need to measure it and do the math. Andrew and I will look at it today.

Actually, other than the no resonator, that sounds like what I have already. Mine has a resonator with 2.5 in and out. I'll take some pics.

Make sure your resonator outlet isn't actually 2.25" like the rest of that generation. And the Y outlets/Muffler inlets would be nice.
