Bears are the worst thing to run over, they usually roll under the car causing the car to roll over.
Glad to hear the there was no significant damage and Margret is alright.
You may want to hit that with a pressure washer once the cats have they're fill

Wow, I can just imagine Margaret freaking out over that, too
I assume she's ok, what about the car? I just had a bit of an encounter with a deer myself... The Impy needs a new headlight and a new hood, and it's STILL NOT FIXED after a week and a half... Oh well, hopefully you'll have better luck with repairs (if it needs any), and hopefully you won't need to drive your brother's POS Camry to work every day with a battery that decides to die on you on a busy two lane highway

That is one happy cat...
Def take a pressure washer to that, and when you do, you should probably take the splash panel out and clean it out inside. That thing can build up nasty stuff inside after just your average commute. I don't want to think of bear blubber after a couple weeks of fermentation...
Hosing out three-day-old woodchuck is bad enough.

I was coming home from work on night and noticed the truck in front of me lost a headlight and swerved a little. Then I saw a big lump in the road. Then I heard "SQUISH". The guy had hit a deer and I straddled the remnants, leaving the same pattern of fur and meat dangling from the underside of my 92 SSE.

You said in a post that you ride motorcycle a lot? Imagine hitting a deer on a MC. My dad hates driving in the dark on his Harley for that exact reason, because on a bike, you and the deer have a 99% chance of dying.
Bye Bye: RIP sandrock

I've kicked deer on my bike. No good. There are a lot of stories and a few sets of pics of people literally cutting deer in half on bikes. More often that you would think, the rider doesn't go down in these cases.
Birds and squirells are the more common, day to day dealings. I hit birds every year.
By the way, night time isn't when yu have to worry about deer, its dusk and dawn when they get all suicidal.

He was wearing appropiate riding gear and a real good helmet.
Rare for a Harley rider. I wear full leather, real riding boots and a fullface every time I ride. Sort of one of those semi-religious pillars of my lifestyle. I fail to see the gain to be had in riding unprotected. But I digress...

A bear?? Whoa... glad there isn't too much damage! The worst we have around here is deer. I see them all the time smashed up along side the road. I've had a couple close calls myself but no dead deer yet for me. I have taken out a couple opossum and an armadillo though.
I thought the cat was part of the carnage too...

At the risk of jinxing myself........ I have never hit a deer with my personal vehicle.
Up until 5 years ago I had never hit a deer at all.
Within days of starting a new job 5 years ago, I hit my first deer and within 6 months hit 5 more. Since then I've got about 3 a year. All with the company truck or trailer. Got 2 at the same time once but they ran under the trailer and sort of exploded as the loaded tanker ran over them.
