Interior/Courtesy Light problem

Hi again everyone,
My wife totaled the 03 SE about 6 months ago, been crying about it ever since. Last week, I bought her a 02 SLE with a few problems. The interior lights/courtesy lights do not come on when you open the doors. You cannot turn them on manually either .All the lights in the dash do work I tested all the fuses in both boxes. Got the main cigarette working but the aux port at rear console or overhead console do not work either.
I switched out relay #51 a couple different times with no success. Relay#53 has got me baffled. There is nothing in the slot. I tried to put a relay in that spot, buy there is no resistance from any prongs like there are no prongs there. I went out there to the 2002 and it is the same way(no relay in spot #53)
What am I missing here?

The lights on door panels DO come on when opening door(Lock/unlock, window up/down, etc)
The keyhole light DOES come on when opening door
The lights in the steering wheel for the radio DO work with key in
All dash lights DO work
The door chimes do work


Anyone with any advice would be GREATLY appreciated

I swapped the remote modules located in the trunk and the remotes work right, as I only got a single key from seller.
Something unusual I just noticed is when I unlock car with either remote, the dash, steering wheel, and door lights will blink twice before they stay on. Not sure what that means, but maybe that is related as to why there are no interior/courtesy lights

I noticed a few more things today:

The Map/Vanity lights do NOT work
The trunk lights do NOT work
The license plate lights(2) do NOT work

I tested a few of these bulbs and they were OK

Could this be one of the BCM modules? Maybe the RIM?
