2002 SSEi... Got in the car yesterday and none of the switches on the drivers door work (window controls for all four doors, door locks, power mirrors, seat memory). All other doors can control their window. The passenger door can lock and unlock the doors.
Thinking the three days of rain we've had has something to do with it. Other than checking the tan wires on the databus splice under the seat for the common corrosion, what else should i check? How can I check the drivers door control module? It's inside the door, right?
I've also checked fuse #7 under the rear seat and it's good.
All switches on driver's door are dead

Master window switch is a common failure point, I'd recommend starting there. The corrosion of the data wire under the seat would give you opposite symptoms (master works and others don't).

Re: All switches on driver's door are dead
So I pulled off the door panel and removed the switch. I took it apart thinking there would be contacts to clean but there aren't any.harofreak00 wrote:Master window switch is a common failure point, I'd recommend starting there. Should I just replace the switch? Any chance it's the module inside the door? Not sure how to troubleshoot this issue. Help!!

Like Andrew said I would replace the master window switch.(I got mine from Andrew)
I had the same problem on my 2000SLE and replaced the switch and it took care of the problem.
You do not have to remove the door panel to do this.
About a 5 minute job at the most.
