Does anyone know if it's necessary to pull off the alternator and power steering pump on a Series 1 L67 to remove the idler pulley bracket that has the double wheeled idler?
I'm need to pull all wiring and connectors to track down a short and some of them go through the bracket and can't be pulled or wiggled out.

Re: 1992 l67 Series I Idler Bracket Removal
I think they can be left attached to the idler/accessory bracket. I think one of the alternator bolt might go through the bracket into the SC. Can't remember right now.
