I changed oil and engine bluffs now blue smoke.... Valve guides are old too i think but oil is main guilty i think.
Didnt smoke blue before.
Now consumption is about 1/2 quarts in 3200miles. Not worst but could be better? How about you?
10w40 semisyn castrol. Maybe but maxlife 10w40 next time. Hard to know what oil was engine before...

From my personal experience and information I've read, it's not unusual for an engine to use a quart of oil every 750 miles. Try the MaxLife 10w40 with a bottle of that Lucas oil conditioner.
