Noticed tonight when I went to make a trip to my friends, that my courtesy lights didn't come on when I opened the drivers side door.
Hrmm, so I found the switch and tapped on a tad with my finger and boom lights come on.
Pretty sure THIS is what I need here:

But what does it take to install it? I would imagine it plugs into a wiring harness of some type inside the body of the car yes?
Another weird thing, which I think is related to switch: if I close the door fully my 'check your seatbelt' light with be on but VERY faintly even with the key removed from the ignigition. If I unlatch the door and leave it slightly ajar, the seat belt light goes out.
Thanks!

Need to spray a rust blaster on it before attempting to unscrew it.
I think, not sure, the glowing seatbelt light is a symptom of a failing chime module.

Yeah, you may be right there, I just noticed today that the door chime is acting up.MattStrike wrote:Need to spray a rust blaster on it before attempting to unscrew it.

Can I just leave it be, or should it be fixed?
Thanks

As long as it's not annoying you and/or draining the battery you could probably put it off for a while.
