I have a 2001 Bonny SE and a while ago my egr valve was throwing me trouble codes so instead of replacing it I had my pcm programed to delete it. I then used a piece of a Mt. Dew can to block the valve. My question is now that I have deleted my egr, could I just pull out that whole stovepipe on the lower intake manifold and be done with the warping and cracking upper intake manifold?

Yes you can remove the stovepipe, but there's no point. Since there's no hot exhaust gases flowing through the stovepipe anymore it won't cause anything melt.

Next time, start a new thread and post a link back to the old one. It helps de-clutter our forum.
