You don't need a relay to do that. Just a wire. Look up the procedure or maybe a gearhead can provide it for you.

Yeah it will. I've burned out two low beam bulbs prematurely in my Bonneville. Besides, I prefer to decide when to turn on my headlights. I don't need Big Brother deciding what's best for me. I've been doing that myself for lots of years and I will continue to do so thank you.
