1991 LE 145,000 new coil /ignition module/ plugs/wires/replaced water pump. no trouble codes stored in ecm. When car is cold starts right up and runs great. After 10-12 min the rpms become erratic and engine stalls and won't restart until temp falls off. Passed smog check last week and I can't figure it out.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated[/color]

My first thought is the crank position sensor. Symptoms fit perfectly. The icm could be bad too, unless it did this with the old one too

I would also say possible crank sensor, but the icm could be a likely culprit as well. I have learned the magnavox design overheats easily and will cause shorts within the bow causing exactly what you mention. Try changing to a newer ac delco 3 coil pack from a series 1 3800
