I think I have the regular sized Solo tips as well. Didn't know you actually get them in a bigger size.

Part of it was that I wasn't driving in that video. I was taking video. Lucas isn't as used to the car as I am.

Well, a small update here, Woodward and Ryan's meet inspired some small changes on this car. I'll just throw up random pics for viewing's sake.

Also, I'll be storing the car by the end of the month for winter, and saving pennies like a grandmother for what's to come next...

Swapped the badges around on the decklid so it reads right.

Sub and amp in addition to the rest of the stereo is now done. (Still need to relocate those pain in the ass OnStar and XM modules... )




And for kicks, from the last set of pictures I took before I sold the T/A. That was a bittersweet sale, but my neighbor bought it, so I see it around all the time, and more importantly I hear it.

My XM expires next May and I have no intention on renewing. Going to delete it and the OnStar modules if I can.

i pulled the harnesses out from the back deck and ran them down the sides of the trunk. So now the boxes are behind the carpets.

Good call. Apparently those harnesses on the deck are responsible for a lot of vibration when the subs fire.

My biggest vibration was the CHMSL cover. I put some dynamat goop between it and the window where it's blacked out. Vibration solved, and can't see the stuff. Dynamatted (actually, Second Skinned) the top and bottom of the rear deck, behind the seatback, and under the seat bottom, too.

My. HMSL cover doesn't rattle. Thank god. But the modules do. I put chair leg felt pads between them and the deck to top that until I can move them like John did.

The cover was a lot easier to fix.

I would imagine. But you don't hear my deck rattle most of the time anyway. More the Kicker 8" sub that's been kicked. It had a rattle out of the box when I first put them in, haven't gotten around to replacing it yet. One of my winter things to do.

Apparently, I don't turn my system up enough to notice any rattles. So far, though, I've only had the glove box rattle, and I fixed that. Nothing else that I have noticed makes any noise. I'll see if that changes any once I get to replacing the speakers someday.

Thanks, haha. The 00+ is pretty good looking styling wise. I always loved mine, it looked good at any angle in any light.
