WCBF 2008 Bracket Racing Trophy:PDXGTP in SLEeper

This year's event, as expected, was a HUGE success and even better than ever as usual. One big thing we really wanted to do was to thank SSEi95 for his work in putting our new home together. TPulliam79 had an extra meet shirt made in White (all others were gray) for Gordy, and all members attending the meet signed a note of thanks for his sacrifice and contributions in putting this new site together:
Image

Image

In addition, the group pulled a fast one behind my back in thanks for helping move to the new site and hosting WCBF. Some unique items from the site store donated by Vince and Tarah, shown here with my track awards and INTENSE prize for best R/T on raceday:
Image

In addition, sonoma_zr2 was the recipient of the famed gearhead cocktail this year. He wasn't able to make it, but I have it (along with a meet shirt from TPulliam79) to ship to him:
Image

Image

FYI, TPulliam79 (Taylor) had extra shirts made for every Admin, Moderator, Retired Moderator, and Gearhead that attended WCBF in thanks for all the hard work in moving the site. This was at his expense, and was totally unexpected and graciously accepted.

I'll have more to say later..........everyone post your awards when you get settled in at home.

Vince, my goof. I have a double list showing last year's winners also. I'll fix that.

Cujo, you gotta come down and hang with us next time. It was a HOOT! And your wheels? I'm not usually a fan of 20's, but I DO like the style of your wheels. I got some good closeups of them on Saturday.

I'm on a different continent right now, so I can't really post a picture of my award. I can say, however, that everyone who went into the planning and presentation of the awards did an awesome job, and I'd like to say thanks for that. Definitely a job well done!
