Almost no boost, code PO243

Post by spacelucky17 »

So one running issue is solved and a new scan reveals this code, which is listed as 'Supercharger Boost Selonoid Control Circuit'. Ive also lost pretty much all boost in the past week  Help!

The most likely cause is a bad boost control solenoid.

Ok, so I've tracked down a way to diagnose that (love google lol). Now is that a part that can be replaced on its own or is it something bigger like the whole supercharger that will have to be done?

So how would I go about ordering a replacement? Is a used one ok?

You might also check to see if you blew the vac line off the port under the supercharger snout.
