I like the newer car's burnt orange. Maybe something like that, but a bit more reddish. I don't know how that'd look on your car though. :???:

Another color I like a lot is electric metallic blue.

Oh, Sorry everyone. The plan is to repaint it the green color I have now (since the paint right now is trashed everywhere.

I'm looking for Ideas on stuff like special touches, accents, add ons, two tones?, designs, hood scoops (prob doing this but looking for a good functioning scoop).

Stuff like that.

If I wanted a different color I'd be hitting the candy orange all night long!!!!

See if you can do the factory paint color but add some of that pearl finish to it so it kind of changes colors depending on how the light hits it!

If you are doing stock green it kinda limits what you can do and make it look good. I think a set of gold pinstripes is probably the most you wanna do.

Now lets think seriously, you are going to spend $2000 on paint for a car thats worth $2000?

I know its not the best decision I've made, But also we'll be getting out the rust as well, and I want my car to look good.(paint is *shoot* right now) Plus I'm getting the idea for a functional hood scoop.

(maybe I might not keep it green after all.....)

I've always been a sucker for a nice glossy black.

Theres a guy here in town that does a pretty good job for $950 for a repaint. Look around for small shops and you might find a good deal with someone.

I vote on getting a new car. Like Andrew said, $2000 on a $2000 car is not the best idea. Just buy a new(er) Bonne with good paint.

Although $2000 on paint and such would not be the best idea. I can't spend $10-13k on a newer Bonneville (If I was to buy a newer one it would only be an 02-03) and I can't afford it along with $6000 a year for insurance. For now I'm just going to try to restore it the best I can with what resources I have.

$6000 in insurance is a little on the high side, more like $2000, tops
