Re: gm steering wheel compatibility
its possible, as far as I know gm has kept the steering shaft and depth pretty much the same for as faras i know back to the 70's maybe even farther, so you have options. I bet it would fit but probably wouldnt match your trim. I dont think it would matter either if you have column or console shift. If you have a wheel already to test with just slap it on and find out i guess, you may need some kind of adapter but I remember seeing those on the shelf at any pepboys or autozone. but post your results too so if anyone here is also interested in a swap we can know if it works or not.

GM kept the basic steering column the same for a very long time. Very likely that any 80's GM wheel wheel will attach. You'll have to address the issues of not having an airbag connected to the system and what to do with the excess column wiring for the bag and controls.

Re: gm steering wheel compatibility
the wheel fits ! rubs a little bit on the column couple mm's and is slightly smaller about a cm in diameter but looks pretty good, the airbag light is now on because the connectors are just inside the steering column unplugged, i lost my radio controls when i swapped the stereos so thats could be unplugged without harm, its also stuffed in the column theres a pocket big enough for all the wiring. only thing i have top figure out last is the horn which is giving me issues of either not working at all or permanenetly on, need to figure out how to ground it properly. the leather isn't quite a good match to the column being right beside each other the colour difference is obvious but it looks really good anyways will post pictures soon!
