Anyone have a favorite for safely cleaning painted/alloy wheels? thanks

all i ever use is simple green with a soft toilet brush, works great and gets the insides well.

cool, but does SG worked on painted wheels as well? The outer spokes are silver, the inner wells are painted black. Just want to make sure I don't use something, then poof, off comes the paint.

I would have no hesitations for putting simple green on those rims. I've used a lot harder chemicals on rims, and even bodies of cars, without any reservations.

been using SG for years, I even spray it on the road/grime build up around the wheel wells/paint before washing my car, makes it so much easier to wash the grime off.

just used it yesterday on the wheels I bought off you.

You really shouldn't need more than car wash if you are washing them on a regular basis. Especially if you keep them waxed.

the brush I use is really soft, like cotton soft. not easy to find in basic stores, I buy them from a janitor supply store.

That looks soft enough for me to wipe my butt with it. Gotta find one of those.

was at auto zone the other day and was recommended this product seeing that I was told that Wesley's Bleche White was not to be used near my wheels because of the chemicals they utilize.

tried it this evening, looks like it's cleans really good and leaves somewhat of a nice shine.

Well maybe not EVERYWHERE. I use it for engine bay, wheels, exhaust tips.... My shower.. XD
