ABS codes and soulutions

Post by nitrousnik »

My ABS and traction control lights are on....I know the traction light and operation is related to the ABS not working, A Scan the trouble codes for the ABS comes up with 2 codes..

45 which is LF inlet Valve.... What is this and where is it located and what is the cure???

61 pump test malfunction.... Is this related to the LF valve or a separate issue and if separate whats the cure...

Any and all information will be greatly appreciated...

Thanks Nick..

What is the rest of the codes? What did you use to scan the codes?

A lot of times when both lights are on it ends up being a bad wheel hub. If these codes are accurate, it may be a bad EBCM. A little more info and troubleshooting may be needed.

no other codes came up, it was done with a snap on scanner, the codes and the definition of them is how the scanner listed...

It is my understanding that the traction light will come on and not work if the ABS is not functioning properly which would make sense because it utilizes the ABS system to control the traction...
