good luck with that bad boy. my 94 Z's lt1 was ridiculous to work on. it took 6+ hours to change the optispark plugs and wires. if you do somehow end up with a v8 dont listen to people about putting a 3inch true dual system on.... i learned the hard way. any more than 2 1/2 is too large and will scrape the ground on every occasion. i will admit though it sounded mmeeaaannn with those flowmaster mufflers. i actually just traded my camaro yesterday for a 4 stroke yamaha dirtbike. also if you have any issues with your 'maro use this site www.camaroz28.com . Talk to "INJUNEER" hes a master with 4th gens

OK, so got a plan-ish...kinda.

Winter is coming and Camaro wont be driven as much, well unless I dont find a truck. But Got a lil road race bet for next spring so the mods will come this winter anyways lol.

Heres my list.....

Stage 1 cam N/A(with appropriate valvetrain upgrades)
Headers
Ported UIM/LIM/TB
Hi-flo cats, V8 muffler
New clutch
FWI of somesort
Upgrade to Z28 brakes
PCM tune

....any other suggestions?

Selling the Bonne so I can move outta my house. Plus got the snowmobile so need something with a bed or that it able to pull a trailer. Plus I tend to randomly pick up big stuff, people throw out some good *shoot* lol. And I just miss my trucks('81 K5, '94 Yukon 2dr) Also drive 60mi a day for work and over half of that is country and it can get pretty harry on the roads I take.

Im gonna keep it N/A just for ease of things. If I was gonna force induce it I would go with centrifugal.

My dad LOVES the snows on his GXP. You'd have to high-center the car to get it stuck.

I understand the need to sell the Bonne, but I don't like it, lol.

They are really *shoot* about getting the plows out around my area.

You don't need to upgrade your brakes. In '97 all the F-bodies got the Z28 braking system. If you want to upgrade, go with 'vette brakes.

Ditch that steering wheel and column, and find one with the radio controls.

Just so you know, the '97 cluster is unique to that year. The later clusters were *mostly* databus driven, the '97s are directly connected to sensors.

I'm learning more and more about these F-bods every day. Electrically speaking, they're pretty similar to the Bonneville aside from two less doors. Since I have the dash out of mine, it's getting the VATS totally yanked out and remote start/keyless entry system going in.

Im going with the K.I.S.S. system on this, turbo will just add headaches, plus Id wanna drop an L67/L32 block in if I was gonna force induce it. Id centrifugal charge it before turbo any how.

Just wanna make it a lil more fun, if I wanna go fast my '64 Merc will be the vehicle Ill hop in.
