'91 SE Transmission disengages from drive after i stop.

Post by Pepcfreak »

Hi all,

After driving my car for any amount of time, every 1 out of 3-4 stops my transmission will not be engaged when i press the gas. Its as if im in neutral then a few seconds later it re-engages and am able to drive with no loss of power. The car drives like the day i got it very sound cept this problem.

I have found that if i drop my car from overdrive to drive while I'm around town and stop a lot it does not do this. Seems to only be when in Overdrive.

I have found that the only error code i receive with the paper clip method is a 26. Which is a Quad-Driver Module or Quad-Driver No. 1 Error.

Any thoughts?
