They don't cost much. Granted, that was an L67 with a somewhat different exhaust note.

Those should fit an 00+, you'd just need some pipe made into an adapter to fit it to the stock exhaust.

Wouldn't it be better to use the 2 1/4" in/out mufflers with stock pipes? Just drop the stock mufflers and replace with these.

Those are the style I have on my car except that mine are 3" in/out because I run 3" pipe all the way out.

Hey....I was going to use post that....

I agree though. I'm doing a very similar setup to that one, plus a 3'' downpipe. I'll keep the old resonator and the Magnaflow cat.

aerochambers, hands down.

slightly O/T: i can attest to the firing order attributing to sound also. it's the firing order of the F-body 3.4's that made that engine, IMO, the best sounding american V6 i've ever heard. search "Camaro Revin" on youtube. the black camaro was mine. mmmmmm :)

now back to your regularly scheduled Glass Pack thread

Since these numbnuts are only posting idle and low revving vids of the Aerochambers, I'll go ahead and show you what they sound like at WOT.
My setup at the time was SLP headers and 3"high-flow, stock piping from there back, aside from removing the resonator. 2.5" straight-thru Aerochambers.

And from inside the car (empty road):

Later, I went to a 3" exhaust with 2.5" duals, and it sounds a bit deeper.

It's been said many times, and I'll say it again. Videos do not accurately represent the sound.

Don't expect the same car to sound the same live and in person.

I've personally seen more member's cars than any member here. The exhaust on each of them is in no way close to what any previous videos ever made them sound like. My own included, with the cutout open or closed.

I must say im intrigued by the aerochambers. Im not looking for loud, maybe a tiny bit louder than what im at but i hate the tinny rasp it has. It sounds wikid at idle with that metallic echo but under load its embarrassing. Im stock with headers sans cat.

Heck, the FWD L67 at WOT is gonna sound like a chainsaw no matter what you do. It's all down to the length of the crossover pipe and the timing of the exhaust pulses. Frankly, though, if the other guy is complaining about my exhaust, I'm happy, cause it means he's behind me...
