I don't think your approach is wrong... but it's definitely overkill. If brake cleaner won't remove the stuff, why is it called brake cleaner? Honestly, in the many hundreds and many years of brake jobs between myself and everyone I know, brake cleaner is sufficient.00Beast wrote:You have to wash rotors with parts cleaner. Centric's premium line of rotors is good stuff. I'm running it in the rear now and plan on the same for the front when the time comes.
