Evolution of a kitty

Post by In_da_boondocks »

This is what mine looked like last year. It's a 2000 Arctic Cat ZL 500.

I bought a hood screen kit last year. Finally got them put in just before Christmas Eve.

The before Christmas Eve, I had it parked in the yard for the first time of the season and the puppies ended up getting a hold of my seat. I found a replacement that came from a 2001 ZR model for $100. It was a real steal compared to what I was finding ($200+ for a seat/tank or $400 for a brand new seat and no tank).

And this is what it looks like now. When it's not being ridden, it's now parked and covered in the shed.

And here is Dad's for good measure. It's a 2001 Yamaha SRX 700. It's stupidly fast with an awesome power band. But the ride quality is pretty lacking when you get in the rough stuff.

Nice sleds!!

I feel your pain with dogs. Ours will chew anything and everything they can. My dad's luggage got lost, and when DHL dropped it off they set it on our patio and the dog tore into it and destroyed a $500 suit. He was less than happy.
Bye Bye:

couple nice sleds there, but those Yamahas had an odd shape to them, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Thanks guys. We love the little buggers anyway. I will say though, I think it looks better now than it ever did. Just sucks that the old seat really isn't worth anything.

They seem a little shorter on the front end than others do.
