Am I still going to be able to run at the drag day even tho its a GM thing? Or a T+T tune lane I can go in?

Re: WCBF11 - Oregon July 19 - 24
As far as I'm concerned the date remains fixed unless Woodburn isn't running a lane we can use.
I'm committed with work and family until early July .......and the weather at that time of the year is almost assured to be rain free.
Anyone who has been cooled by Bill's mist water cooling system can attest to the complimenting enjoyment of a refreshing brown frothy beverage that seems to distract one from the warmish Oregonian temperatures.

Paul, after the next season starts, I will go talk to them and see if we can get a lane ahead of time. I will also check with PDXCGP and see if they will have any representation. The best thing we can do is to try to get a good count of cars attending. This is also a general race day, so people can run their Fords or anything else that meets the race requirements.

What does it mean to 'get a lane'? I assume we have choices in how we are represented and presence in the schedule. Even event billing. How does that work?

Re: WCBF11 - Oregon July 19 - 24
There are multiple lanes for waiting to stage. Generally each "lane" is for a class or group running in the drags. During T&T it doesn't matter, but during bracket racing it does.

Paul, if I had been able to take a week and a half off these past few summers, I'd have totally been there. But, life gets in the way. It's on my list, believe me. I'll have to stick to Midwest meets for now.

As for the location and other specifics, those will most likely be determined later. As of right now it will most likely be a KOA grouping unless the headcount is really low. We will be able to adjust and plan a lot better once we get an idea of who all will be attending and where they will be residing for their stay.
I started a new topic to get a head count and where people are staying. viewtopic.php?f=33&t=22356

Re: WCBF11 - Oregon July 19 - 24
There was one particular clip that had me rolling on the floor.
What little sight I had left in my eyes has been burned by the tears of hysterical laughter.
I'm not sure who that pantless man was but when he took his shirt off to reveal his Zilla Motorsports attire I almost peed myself.
Definitely censored only to be viewed by participants of the Meet.
One too many.....

I DID pop a vein. 4 of them actually. I had surgery after the meet to correct it. The problem is that it gets worse every year! This year will probably be near-total nudity.2000Silverbullet wrote:I won't post the vid.

On an off-topic note, see that shade cloth hanging above my bbq on the end of the patio cover? There's some changes to that end (improvements/additions). I'll post some pics in the lounge in a couple days. The improvements will cut the cold north winter breezes and help contain the cool when I have the patio foggers on in summer.
