Sensor question

Post by Rapp16 »

Is there a sensor that controls the clutch or the shifting of the sensor. The reason I ask is because I still haven't solved my tranny issue and I'm not convinced that it's actually the transmission going because once it does shift into overdrive, it drives perfectly fine, pulls strong through the gears etc. Any help would be great.
Thanks
Derek

Well, for starters.....it would be GREAT if you could tell us what your actual symptoms are, rather than what's NOT wrong.

Thanks.

I've posted about it on several threads and didn't want to be repetitive. When the car is cold it will stick in first up to high rpms and then shift roughly and it also doesn't go into overdrive. After it warms up it shifts perfect without any issue.

Please continue in your other topic so we can see the history of the issue, and don't have to ask repetitive questions.
