Yup, the standard Mr. Clean magic eraser. Not the special ones. Any of the off brand ones will work too, as they're all made with the same material.

Good Lord, Andrew. That swapped interior looks amazing.
I had to flip back to page one to refresh my memory.

With the projects on the go, how do you prioritize which car to work on? Whichever you think will be ready to hit the market first?

Can't wait to see the finished product!

I'm guessing it was 6 hours to gut and 6-7 to re-install everything. The longest part is dismantling the whole dash. The seats and stuff come out relatively quickly compared to the dash.

hopefully by the end of the month.

I did a walk around yesterday of everything left that I need to do:
polish headlights
install arrowhead on bumper
replace broken foglight
de-pinstripe
remount passenger rocker molding
touchup paint
replace rear passenger wheelwell
install driver door molding
fix interior lights
clean engine and install cover
program remote

Nah, cut that in half. Only 3 hours to remove, and 3 hours to reinstall. The dash isn't as bad as you'd think, about 30 minutes tops. On the reinstall, I spend more time cleaning up all the individual parts than actually installing them.

Yes, eyes are still required. Sure makes it difficult when my fingers are frozen though.

A few.

I pulled off the headlights yesterday to polish them. I noticed that the driver side was full of condensation, and there was a large crack in the back of the house. I called up a local yard and they had a headlight in stock for $40 with a badly fogged lens. I bought it and restored it.

Here is the original light
Image

This is the new light, after a polish. Before the polish, it was worse than the original. Turned out great.

Just dropped off the car to have the rear bumper resprayed for $200. While its in the warm shop, I'll install the driver door cladding, put on a new arrowhead on the front bumper cover, de-pinstripe it, and do some overall polishing.

I believe you can find new carpet for about $100. I would love some of the interior pieces/parts, but yours is too new.

400, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000 grit wet sandpaper and then a quick polish with some Menerza's.

$100? maybe someaftermarket carpet that doesn't fit right. New carpet from GM is crazy expensive.

Front section is $600+ and rear section is $300+.

I followed your link to the web site. I went to 1992 HY.HZ LAMPS/REAR. The drawing shows the tail light lens to be a three piece assembly. Mine are cracked and delaminating (with the exception of the left rear quarter panel as it was broken in an accident & replaced). Can these lenses be disassembled repaired and re-assembled? If so how, as these are expensive and put a hole in my “budget”. (ha-ha) Thanks -BC

Try to stay on topic here. If you what to discuss this further, start a new topic please.

As far as getting replacement taillight lens for a 92 from the dealer... good luck. Your car is 18 years old. Parts are normally only stocked for 10 years or so.

JWikoff has some nice lights forsale though: http://www.pontiacbonnevilleclub.com/fo ... 1&start=20

The grey interior with the green is very unique looking. I like it. =D>

I'm so used to green with a tan interior I'm surprized it looks good in grey.

When I factory ordered my Firebird I custom ordered the tan interior with the marine blue exterior. I like it and that's all that matters to me.

I would never have ordered the Silver Bonne with a tan interior though.
