1996 Chevy 4x4 Blazer Power Seat issue?

Post by 99bonnieSE »

Neither power seat works, but when i took the seats out, and put 12 volts to the motors, they work just great. I put a volt meter on the plugs where they plug in underneath the carpeting, and they have voltage, but the minute you hit the switch, the power goes away.

Any ideas?

Did you make sure the pins in the connectors are connecting?

Forsure.

Volt metered while plugged in, read 10 point whatever volts.

On the awesome S10 forum, and had a reply with wiring diagrams, and where the relay is. relay could be tired, maybe try replacing it

Are the pins fully inserted in the connectors so they connect each other??
