On my 04 Grand Am
Okay so today after leaving work i hit my blinker, and when it shut off the flasher kept going. None of my lights were blinking, but i could hear the flasher clicking faster than my blinkers flash.
It kept going for like 30 seconds then stoped, then went on and off in short intervals the rest of the way home. I even tried shutting the car off and turning it back on, using the blinkers, and hitting the hazards, but the flasher keeps ticking.
Does it mean the flasher is on it's way out? Anyone know how hard it'd be to replace the flasher?

more than likely your flasher took a crap... very common on these i see it all the time. your hazard button Assembly should contain your flasher.

It's even more likely that the factory grease in the multifunction lever assembly (turn signal and wiper stalk unit) has gobbed up and shorted the contacts. Go to http://www.gaownersclub.com and search blinker and my same screen name. There's a good write-up that someone posted or linked in the thread to fix it. I've done it on two different Grand Ams now. Worked like a charm and really easy.
