Re: CAI
You got quoted pulling hot air in from the engine bay. INTENSE, in their infinite wisdom has decided that if you buy from them, they can guarantee cooler air for you.

Re: CAI
He can route that hose to draw cooler air elsewhere. Like, to where everybody else puts a FWI.
I've seen these in action, and I like it. Plus, it keeps the filter cleaner by having it in the engine bay, and not behind the wheel well liner. I'd want to know where the IAT will be placed.

Re: CAI
Exactly.
And I dont think intense would have been able to beat the price.
And another factor is that EVERYONE does the FWI.
As some of you may have guessed i like to be little different
(Still wanna put an AFE filter in it though)

If you want different and the cost of performance, more power to you. There are no downsides to the FWI, and it's superior to any other intake system in every way.

Re: CAI
TBH i was planning on doing something like that down the road.
My car needs a filter and i know that eventually ill be getting a CAI of some kind.
I figured id just do this instead of buying a new filter that im gonna replace with a CAI in 5k.
