hey i live in lockport, illinois which is near joliet about 30-40 min southwest of chicago. Every monday night there is a car show in lockport downtown area... maybe we can get all our bonnie's and show up in force there and represent the bonneville club!!!

Sounds like next wknd (6-8) is the weekend of some sort of meet, and I'll be in attendance, since Kyle and Jovan drove all the way up here last summer, I figured I'd return the favor. Who's all coming?

Ed, I am SO sorry, I totally forgot that next weekend is Vicki's yearly family reunion near DeKalb, I was asking her about prices for hotels when I was hastily reminded that next week I will not be home.

You are MORE than welcome to come down (at your convenience) anytime after next weekend. I talked to a couple of people already and it would look like I would just be having a "mini-meet" at my place. Don't have alot of tools or workspace, but for the "minor" stuff, I would be able to accomodate.

Guys, there's tons of shows, meets, etc, going on in Chicago during the summer. Mostly Thursday through Saturday, but still... It's almost too much to list.

Also, the Indian Uprising (Cruising Tigers) All Pontiac/GTO meet is happening I believe this weekend at Pheasant Run in St. Charles. I've done this in the past with the GTO, but due to politics with the organizing body, our group hasn't attended in earnest the last few years. However, If you want to show up with a bunch of Bonneville's early enough, I'm sure they wouldn't turn you away.

Either way, anything I go to, I'm not taking my sh*tbox daily driver Bonneville. I'd go with the goat! And for the record, I'm just calling mine a "sh*tbox DD Bonneville", not any of yours! Just thought I'd be clear.
