Bill treated us all to a great China Gardens dinner.
We all had to sit and watch Bill eat his 4th plate of sushi and had to be restrained so he couldn't go up for more.

Back at Bill and Lisa's apartment.
I get to sleep with Bill Tonight..........he snores bad but if I have enough Patron it shouldn't matter.

Day 2 begins.

My typical male direction finder needed a boost with a new GPS that will find US addresses. Lucked out and found one on sale......and no tax here in OR.

Time to do some clean up.

It's cool enough....maybe I should pop on a smaller pulley.

On second thought maybe not. Too many black and whites around here!

Besides the 3.4 rewarded me with record (for me) mileage.

Saturday morning Day 4

Weather forecast looks like rain. :sad5:

Planning on leaving Monday morning. Plans might be modified if the rain is too heavy.

Still lots of beer to consume before then.

Sunday Day 5

It hasn't rained yet and the sun is shining bright.

Church this morning. Sure was a different service than what we are used to up north. Laura loved it.

Bill's Birthday today so we're gonna take them out for dinner tonight at Ruby Tuesday's.

Edit - forgot it was Moms day and we didn't make reservations so we went to another great place to eat and had a special that was named after me.


Now what kink of trouble can we get in today?

Monday Day 6

It finally rained last night and still drizzling today.

The Bullet got wet for the first time in a few YEARS! :sad5:

So we decided last night to stay another day. The weather will clear tomorrow for the continuation of the tour.

That's the advantage of not travelling to any firm schedule.

Target destination for Tuesday overnight is Ashland OR
Then Napa Valley Wednesday night.

Hope the weather is a bit warmer in Cali cause it's only 57 F here today.

Nice relaxing day today.

We met Bill and Lisa for lunch at Togo's for soup and sandwiches.
They went back to work and we went to the show to see Iron Man 2.

I thought it was a good movie.

The Bullet did not move out of Bill's driveway all day.

We walked. Everything is so close to where Bill lives. He lives at a great location.

On their way to the movie, they tried to 'race us' on foot across the intersection.


They LOST. Chalk another win up for the ZiLLA.

It was a close race though. He HAD to open the exhaust dump.


Time to pack up, warm up and hit the high road to California.

Nestled at the Best Western in Ashland OR

Toured the town and have dinner reservation for 6 pm at a nice Italian place.
Nice place. It must be nicer in the summer when it isn't so darn cool. Still snow showing on the hills. Needed a sweater and jacket.

Decided to bypass the lions and other roof scratching varmits. Seen them all before.
I can do without their stink and dirt road trek.

Napa tomorrow. It's an easy 5 hours from here.

Geez, good thing I just phoned ahead for reservations. Best Western was fully booked mid week!

So we're staying at The Embassy Suites in town on California Blvd.

Booked for Wed and Thurs nights.

LOL ya right! A mud bath. Sounds pretty dirty Rod. I'd rather sit in a clean hot tub and sip wine.

Where is that food place? Looks like a school but doesn't give a location.

I'm sure there are plenty of places to eat with better experienced chefs. Back home I used to eat lunch at the school that taught cooking. It was OK but not AAA.

We should be in Sacramento by Friday or Saturday. Stay tuned.

This weather better warm up soon. I'm really disappointed, it's so cold.
