so Z-type's thread got me looking around at Rivs for sale and I have found some good deals on them locally.
I don't know much about them besides that they are G-body and have the standard l67/4t65HD combo. what kind of suspension do they have? are they as capable of being modded as other 3800's? any info would be appreciated

Re: looking for Riv info
Being a buick, I would say it's most likely got the FE2 suspension, slightly firmer than the base FE1 but not quite as stiff as the FE3 that some pontiacs got. If you ever go look at one for sale, check the RPO tag in the trunk, on the spare tire cover. Look for one of those three codes.
As for modding, anything that can be done to the 3800 family applies, however I'm not sure of the ability to tune the buick PCM, although I don't see any reason that it would be much different than any of the other SII cars.

Mods: Clear corners, gutted airbox, Alpine CDA-9886. Plans: 4x SensaTracs, high-flow, FM 80, 3.5 pulley, and for gods sake some good rubber.
