How Creative Can You Get?

Post by SingsCountry1967 »

I know this time of year is not the most conducive for picture taking... but I started going through my Photobucket account and came across some cool pics taken over the past 3 1/2 yrs that I've been attending meets... At the last count, I think it was well over 80 members that I have met... traveled literally coast to coast traveling a total of at least 15,000 miles (only 6,000 of which I flew...the rest were driving). I've lost track of the meets...major ones... mini ones... and one nighters at my place (...er... that didn't sound quite right).

There has been a crapload of pics...I could not begin to show you them all... so here are just a few of the more unique ones to give you some picture posting ideas.

I look forward to warmer weather, ie. meet time. I haven't figured out how many members I have met...it's definitely comparable...though I haven't nearly traveled as far as you have!

Lol...as Jerry pointed out, you don't have to have a Bonne to go to a meet... we've seen the Civic, the Park Ave, Camries, and even a Ford Pickup at our meets. Yea, I know, it's cool to all have the same car driving along the highways...freakn people out... but at the end of the day, it truly is about the people.

Peterg...the other pic I found of you was urinating on the fence at the truckstop. Lol... and remember when Gonneville dryhumped the Gorilla at the gokart place? And Gumball being found on his mattress in the basement...or without the mattress at he bottom of the stairs... and Fake Canadian Pete sleeping in the hallway... Frank dodging the camera at every chance... Classic Moments in time! Once you open up your home to Bonnie-nuts, life is never quite the same.

In that picture Jerry if I'm not mistaken, behind you is Thunderhand's ol 90 SSE, then my beloved 95 Ei, then I believe Gonneville's olds. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yup... I wound up driving my mom's '98 Nissan Altima last year too. This was about 2-3 weeks before I was suddenly in position to buy the 95 #-o

that was Tracy's son's car. we nicknamed him ditchhopper due to a smaller ditch he went in once. then in a later date,he had the rollover which totaled it.
prior to that, that 93 was owned by a former member named Randman1. and parts of his custom interior still live on in a current members ride today. :)

I came across a copy of the title and the insurance papers the other day... I couldn't remember if it was a 92 or a 93...??? But yes, Gumball covered the story well! (thank you!) My son's screenname was Ditchboy and had the car for little over a year. Lost it on a snowy curve one night and drove into the ditch on the opposite side of the road... a fire hydrant stopped him and that is what crumpled the fender and the hood. Needless to say, it was the first car of the club to be totaled in 2007. Randman1 had made customer visors, door panels, and shifter knob. These were harvested and replaced with the originals before sending it off to the junkyard (except the shifterknob)...and were adopted by another green SSEi.

Nick!! My long lost son from anotha motha... :bsmooch: (for those that don't know, Sqela and Ditchboy are the spittn image of each other and also share the same name. Freeky.)

Ditchboy bought a 94 Olds LSS w/SC Gen II and drove that until this past Sept. It needed a lot of work that he didn't have time or money to put into it... he only needs a car until he graduates June 2010 .... so... he's now driving....
