It was a nice day yesterday and the Bonneville needed a wash. Supposed to be sunny and pushing 60* all week, so after bathing the SSEi I decided to move cars around and resurrect the G8 from its winter hibernation and drive it to work for a couple days. While they were out I popped off a couple pics. Something I haven’t done in a while.

LOL! You'd think. When you're buying used and the price is right for the car, color becomes secondary (you get what's available). Black appears to be a rather popular color - certainly the most popular for G8s. The Denali is my dad's - he's wintering with us. My truck is the white Silverado on the side of the garage. It's living outside for the time being...but I'm working on that. :)

The view out the back ain't too bad either. This is looking across my mini-henge from the dining room. The sun was going down and lit up the mountains pretty good.

P.S. Project 57 won't be black when it's finally painted!

That's awesome.

I would love to end up somewhere by the water eventually, mainly for magic hour purposes but something that nice would definitely fit the bill. While its not from my current house, we have pretty good neighborhood views of the Laguna Mountians. They were actually snow capped a few weeks ago.. I took the M5 through there and got to see people sledding and taking winter wonderland wedding photos. Pretty interesting for the latitude.

An ocean view or lake view would be pretty incredible, but isn't going to happen around here. The mountains a little to the right of my neighbor's right light pole is where the ski area I have a season pass to is (on the back side). So that's pretty handy. Takes about 20 minutes or so to get there and helps make the winter bearable. Notice that there's plenty of snow on the mountains, but just a trace on the ground in the valley. That's ok by me.
