Post subject:  New guy, new project!

Hi guys,
My name's robert, I have been a member over at grand prix forums a while as my previous a project was a 01 grand prix gt, with a few mods ;) I have owned several l67 cars over the years and many more l36 cars including several Bonnevilles. My current project is a 98 buick riviera, this is an l67 supercharged car that I have huge plans for, the biggest being a goal of 300whp by end of summer. Currently the car is at the paint shop i will be picking it up tomorrow in its new color gm limerock green. When I get home tomorrow I got a few goodies going in (intense pcm, 180 t stat) it currently has a fwi, al 104's gapped to. 050. I have zero kr and just waiting for a pulley puller to get my zzp hub and 3.5 pulley on. As for wheels I got some 5 spoke pregen gp wheels that are painted in a graphite metallic going on for now to replace it's current Bonneville wheels. Upcoming mods over the next couple months are, headers, rockers, ic, and 3.2 pulley. My reason for picking up this car was it being super clean and rust free, being I live in mn it's hard to find anything not rotted out :/ I hope you guys can help me along the way and can be entertained by my many hiccups I tend to go through. Well here's some pics so far, new paint pics coming tomorrow

Thanks man, here's what she looks like today! Picked her up from paint this morning, got home swapped wheels and got all my new goodies installed, outside of my pulley as I'm waiting on my puller to show. Let me know what you guys think.

There is a guy here at work that has one, in very clean condition, I told him once that I wanted it, but he isn't willing to sell. It's that pearl white in color.

Great looking car! One of my wife's favorite cars is that body style.

Buddy of mine sold his low mileage Riv last year. Couldn't hardly get anyone to buy it. - BC

That would look really sharp lowered down a couple of inches...right now it's ready for our winter snow storms. ( fellow MinnesOtan here ).

Thanks guys! I'm really having a lot of fun with this build I enjoy this car alot. Tomorrow I'm getting my 3.5 pulley on and hopefully kr stays away. I have 0kr now and everything else seems good from what I gather, my ltft is 0 @wot, intake temps with my home made fwi are only about 10-20* over outside temps while sitting still. Hopefully by the end of the month I can have some more things ready to get me closer to my 300whp goal.

Love those riv's, OK, pretty much love all Riv's but that year with the swooping front and tight boat-tail rear is particularly sharp. Have fun. Larger rims and tires might "Fill the wells" better but that may be a matter of angle of the photos. Can we see her interior, dash and instruments? I recall they're nice inside too! - best of luck with her.
