I really like the way this new muffler sounds. The guy at the muffler shop asked me if I was sure I wanted to do this, then he was surprised at the sound it made when they started it up.

Muffler sounds good -I never ran it on a Series II, but wish I did. I had it on my 95, and replaced it with an OEM replacement (from the same manufacturer as that hiflo) then transferred the exhaust over to the 99 SSEi. I just pulled the Imco OEM replacement with a Borla XS which is even quiter yet. I loved the sound of the IMCO HF, but with my 65+ miles a day on the freeway the drone was too overbearing so I had to have the radio cranked all the time.

My wife and I have a relative that lives nearby (Melvindale), so we pass that tire every time we go out there.
