Has anybody successfully pressed apart the 3800 water pump for powder coating? It looks like between the bearings is a plastic bushing that gets ruined when I pressed it apart. It might even be injection molded in after assembly. Otherwise I think I figured out how to disassemble them, and confirmed that the seal will not survive oven cure temps. |
