Went to see the Eclipse back in August and Bonnie chose that time to have an oil pump failure and in the process spun the front main bearing. So I took it to my mechanic who replaced the oil pump, we didn't know at that time of the bearing issue. So I drove it and after a while the oil pressure dropped out so I took it back and he discovered the bearing. He replaced it with the largest one available. No luck, when it's cranked it clacks like an old washing machine. So I found a shop that all they do is rebuild engines, had Bonnie flat-bedded there and should have it back with a completely rebuilt engine in a couple of weeks. I miss my Bonnie.

Hope it's all good when done.

Yea, got my Bonnie back last Tuesday with a complete engine rebuild. Only issue was a check engine light that stayed on for a few days and then went away, guess some sensor somewhere wasn't happy but now is. Then my radio died, shi*t never ends, so Friday I get an aftermarket one installed with the 'little black box' to make the new radio compatible with the steering wheel controls. Still happy to have it drivable again.

Sigh, wife noticed that the back bumper has 'sagged' leaving a noticeable gap below where the trunk lid stops in the latched position. I've looked underneath and I cannot see anything loose or even how it is fastened to the frame. Anyone have any ideas on how to jack it back up into position?
