hello, I have a maf sensor from my 96 SSEi and would like to know if it will fit and work on my 2000 SSEi

I notice the stalk that goes in to t.b. hole is much shorter on my 96 maf - will it work?

No, it won't work.. correctly.

The pre- 99 MAF requires a cast in post in the TB to direct air over it. 99+ doesn't have the post. The pre-99 MAF hole is smaller too IIRC.
