So I got up this morning, a day off up here for Canada Day, and found an email from Bill over at HP Tuners. I had been in communication with him trying to reg my second-hand VCM suite this week, he states,:

"New 2.24 up on your customer page with support added for this application."

Happy dance, hoots and hollers, break out the bubbly! I cant believe this is really happening, I'm sure I'm dreaming! Getting a tune on this car has been a big question mark from the get-go almost three years ago, being that almost nobody mods them, and support was just not there up to this point. I even had a member here supply a custom OS to enable tuning, but since I'm not a tuner, it has sat in my documents folder quite a while now.

I went out and immediately performed a full read and held my breath as the license options came up, then casually clicked the tab and licensed my car for tuning. There was even an audible gasp from me!

This could be a case of "the squeaky wheel gets the grease", as I have moaned and griped about this to anybody who would listen, including all the big players, for quite a while now, but until I actually had a tuner, I didn't really get anywhere.

Happy Canada Day, I'm gonna go stick my HPT sticker somewhere, hahahahahahahahahahahaha......

Are you trying to say that Your car is now supported in their latest suite? Or that your version of the software is now supported?

I are confused. Of course that isn't hard, as trying to understand their credit system makes my head swell, so...

I updated the drivers for the HPT interface, and I was able to then license the LSS, which I was not able to yesterday, after which i then sent in the read to HPT support as prompted by the tuner. I dont recall the update version, something like 2.24.9?? However you put it, the car is unlocked and ready to be tuned.

I think....lol

It'll be a long while before I'm doing any tuning, I'll leave it to a pro, but having the ability to flash is HUGE! Mail tunes YEEAH!
