1. Adjusted the trunk from a level 6 to a level 4 on the force scale using the tech write up.
2. Replaced my burned out stop light bulbs (was going to use LED's, but they made my red rear lights look orange, so went incandescent).
3. Put LED's for my reverse light.
4. Cleared the haze from headlights.
5. Cleared out trash from the car.

Washed and vacuumed it!

Replaced the Bypass Actuator on the Bonneville and got my supercharger back. It's been a few months just running on the N/A engine. I forgot how nice and fast it actually is. Lol.

Installed the boat roller mount and installed LED's in my high beams.

Summer Wheels and Tires went back on yesterday. Finally. It looks so much better than running the winters on the rusty steel wheels.

Replaced the radiator on my 1975 Monte Carlo with a aluminum radiator.
The car runs hot with the A/C on after about 20 minutes.
Hoping this new radiator will do the trick.
Also changed thermostat back to the OEM specs which is 195 degrees.
I had put in a 150 degree one but car was not running right.
Also changed oil & filter.
I use Mobil 10W40 as it is an older car and only driven during the summer months.

Put the ZZP coupler on the supercharger and put in fresh supercharger oil.

I want it to be ready when my order from Intense Racing gets here. (If it ever does. Been waiting almost 2 months now.)

The aluminum radiator on the 1975 Monte Carlo worked.
Car no longer runs hot when I run the A/C.
Today I washed, clay barred and used Nexgen ceramic wax on the 2005 Red Bonneville.
I love how easy the ceramic goes on and comes off.
Not a lot of rubbing like the old days.

Yep. So far I've been impressed with the DIY ceramic I put on a couple of my cars. Application is a breeze. Proper prep is necessary, however.

Played around with PlastiDip on the rear bumper of the Bonneville. I can't mess up the paint any more than it already is. Lol.

I also bent the front driver's fender back out as the door was catching it again. Weirdest thing how that's happened twice now, but oh well. It clears now. Ready for a long drive on Friday.

Authorized new AC compressor replacement for 99 SE. Garage suggested the possibility of just doing the clutch on the compressor but savings were not that substantial and considering 1) the car has 93K miles on it and 2) Only the engine takes precedence over AC in the vehicle so prefer if down for repair that a new compressor be placed in the vehicle rather than a rebuild or a clutch replacement on the current compressor. Damage for compressor replacement and cleanout is estimated at 600-650. Not a cheap repair by any means but price paid for this vehicle + condition dictate I don't cheap out on the repair. Hopefully Bonnie will take it as a sign that I intend to take good care of her and other components won't start failing after the fact lol!

I opened the hood and took a look at what I'd need to move out of the way to get the pulley off of the supercharger. Looks like the accessory belt, the coolant tank, and one of the A/C lines can be unhooked and shifted a little to make room for the puller/installer.

Because...

My order from Intense Racing finally arrived after nearly a quarter of a year since ordering it! (5 days shy of a 3 month wait time). Supplier issues, USPS issues, etc. Ugh.

I am so pumped to install the Stage I Performance kit. I'll update here once it's done.

Well that was fun. Installed the Intense Level 1 performance kit yesterday afternoon. Took a few hours, some of it taken up by running to the store to get the one open-ended wrench size I didn't have and then the 30+ minutes of the procedure to get the car to accept the new PCM.

Pretty straightforward for the most part though. Part quality was good all around. Instructions were mostly easy to follow.

Frick is the car ever loud with that CAI now. Yeesh. I'm glad it's still quiet at idle and just putting around town. It really screams when you open it up, but putting up the windows helps. I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Definitely pulls strong and just keeps pulling. Tune seems good, hitting points on the Tach this car has never seen before. Lol. Old Man Programming has been removed. I'll see what the gas mileage is like on my next long trip.

Hard to beat the package for the price.

Did a follow up oil change (since I haven't done one since last year at least) and re-gapped the plugs. Feels even better now. Wheee!

Just got my 2005SLE (white pearl) back from the trim shop.
They replaced the headliner.
Did a great job and it looks really good.
Now just need the glue/adhesive smell to go away.

Installed rear springs last week. This week I was about to change out the front suspension and realized during the time my cart at RockAuto was sitting there with the items in it, they sold out of the bellows for the struts and therefore didn't send any when I finally placed the order. D'oh!

They should get here next week and then I can replace the front struts/springs, etc.

Driver's strut/spring/mount/bellows replaced today. That was fun. Managed to get through it though.

Tomorrow it's the passenger side! Then we'll see how she feels afterwards. Fingers crossed the vibration is gone. The old strut was toast so I'm hoping that was contributing to the issue.

Passenger strut/spring/mount/bellows replaced today. Car feels better at highway speed. Took away maybe 75% of the pesky vibration I've been chasing. I think the old driver's strut was toast. Might go get a road force wheel/tire balance soon and see if that solves it completely.

Also installed a new regulator/motor in the rear passenger door. Great success! I have 4 working windows again! Lol.

I found out my fog light bulb is going out but anyway I compounded and polished my whole car after washing and claying it, the hood I took 3000 grit sandpaper to and used compound and polish to get the gloss back.
