SE to SLE, off the top of my head: Bumpers, 3.05 gearing, SLE has DIC, SLE's have 17's, dual exhaust. Might be more, a lot depends on year.

SSEi's have the L67 (supercharged engine), -HD trans, 17's, HUD (03 it was optional), DIC, memory Seats, inflator in the trunk from the ELC pump, Leather with full power standard AFAIK, Boost gauge in the cluster, FE2 suspension, embroidered floor mats. Again, might be more I can't think of.

Why are you asking?

just curious on what my SE would be considered now. Since I have dual exhaust, 18's, inflator in the trunk (custom install, not using ELC pump), Leather with manual tilt, sunroof.

It's still an SE.

But with an option/mods set like that it's getting closer to what came on an SLE. Your front/rear fascia and cladding still belong to the SE, however.

Unless you change the RPO tags and VIN(highly illegal), it's still an SE no matter what you do to it.

i don't like the fogs in the middle. And about the vin, i know, so if I were to ever do the engine/trans swap to the ssei, I still register it as an SE :D

Actually LESS after the swap.

ya for some reason, engine swaps degrade most vehicles. If I had the money, I would be buying a black 02 ssei (never winter driven) with 80,000km for $11,500 cad

Cause you modified it. Like you will probably not get what you want for your SE, if you ever sell it.

You would have to get it appraised by someone to get a number for the value of it after the swap, thats what car restorers and hot rod shops, etc, do.
