I know green is made for series 1 and earlier but is there any reason I couldnt put it in a series 2? My dad has green in the 1996 and no problems yet |

I'm assuming you mean green anti-freeze? Get Prestone Mixes-With-Any coolant, a flush additive, and a flush kit and do a complete flush, and then re-fill with the Mixes-with-any. |

This doesnt answer my question though is green going to hurt anything? Is there any difference between them? My dad has green in his 96 and has no problems yet. |

If standard Ethylene-Glycol coolant mixes with dex-cool, it creates a sludge that can plug all your coolant passages up. Use Prestone Mixes-with-any coolant, it won't sludge up if there is some dex left. |

You have two perfectly fine pre-existing threads about your new car. Which will now become one: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=14497 You do NOT need to make new threads for every question you have. Keep it to one. We've already told you about this. |
